I’m looking for some honest thoughts on the Douglas Original mattress. I’ve done the review-scrolling thing, but I’d rather hear from real people who’ve actually looked into it or tried it.
Here’s my situation: I’m converting an old school bus into a tiny home and I’m finally at the point where I need to buy a mattress. Space is limited, and since I’ll be living in it full-time including Canadian winters I need something comfortable, not too hot or cold, and ideally supportive enough to not destroy my back.
The Douglas mattress looks promising, especially being Canadian-made and supposedly good in cooler temps. But I’m wondering: has anyone used it in a small or mobile setup? Like a cabin, van, or tiny home? How does it do without a box spring? And does it actually hold up long-term?
