Advice 💁🏻 Any recommendations on what's the best in store mattress?

Hi all! I want to buy a new mattress as a gift for myself on my birthday. I really want to avoid the hassle of returns and scheduling a pickup which is why I’m planning to buy in store this time.

I’m a side sleeper (sometimes a back sleeper) so I’m looking for something that works well for both. I’m considering brands like Helix, Saatva, or Bear. Has anyone here had good experiences with these brands?

Does anyone here hate when their mattress is all wrapped in a box? Plus the off gassing smell is the worst part

Not in your list but I can attest to the Leesa original mattress. It’s an all foam model but they have a hybrid version if that’s what you prefer
