Advice 💁🏻 Any recommendations or options of what’s the best mattress protector?

I’ve been looking into mattress protectors but it’s getting kinda overwhelming since there are so many options. I wanna make sure I invest in one that actually does its job well and lasts. Here’s what I’m looking for:

• Cooling technology – I sleep hot, so something breathable that doesn’t trap heat would be ideal
• Leak-proof – I want full protection from spills, sweat, or anything else that could seep into the mattress
• Durability – I’ve seen reviews where some mattress protectors tear easily, and I’d really like something that holds up over time
• Comfort – I don’t want anything that feels plasticky, crinkly, or makes noise when I move around. Something soft and barely noticeable would be perfect

I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews on different brands, so I’d love to hear from people who have actually found one they love. If you have a mattress protector that meets these criteria (or close to it), I’d really appreciate any recommendations.

Based on reviews, this cover is pretty decent. Feels cool at first if the room is cool and it’s uncovered, but after several mins your body heat evens it out. Once you add sheets, you don’t really feel the cooling lol

the mattress industry is just out to confuse us with those fancy names. Breathable, moisture-wicking, thermoregulating like, i doubt they actually work

I did way too much research on this, and bamboo protectors came up a lot for cooling
