Review ⭐️ Any thoughts on angelbliss bassinet mattress? Is it a good purchase?

Hi everyone! Husband and I are pregnant (second tri) and we’re starting to plan ahead for baby essentials and that includes a mattress crib for the baby. I’ve been looking at the Angelbliss bassinet since it seems to have good reviews and isn’t too pricey. But I’m a little unsure about the mattress. I’ve read that newborn mattresses should be firm for safety reasons, but the Angelbliss mattress seems pretty thin and hard from what I’ve heard.
For any moms who’ve used it…did you find it too firm, or did your baby sleep comfortably on it? Should I think about adding a bit of cushioning or maybe a mattress pad, or would that make it unsafe? I’m a first-time mom and I’m trying to make the best decision here without overthinking too much.

Any advice or recommendations (whether about the Angelbliss or other bassinets) would be really helpful.

First of all, congrats in advance to you and your hubby. Manifesting a healthy baby will go your way!! Anyways, haven’t used the angelbliss but I know that baby mattresses are supposed to be firm so they have the proper development. I know a lot of parents are surprised by how firm their baby mattresses are at first but that’s actually recommended by pediatricians to ensure their safety during sleep.

True. Soft mattresses can increase the risk of SIDS so a firmer one is probably safer that way
