Question 🙋🏻 Looking for tips and advice on how to make your bed higher

Hey guys. I recently adopted a senior dog, and he’s having a hard time getting onto my low bed. Even with a ramp, it’s still too steep. I’m thinking of raising the bed a few inches to make it easier for him. Do you have any tips on how I can go about this? I also wouldn’t mind the extra storage space underneath since I live in a small apartment. Just want to make sure whatever I do is safe and stable.

Bless your heart for adopting that senior dog. I’m sure he would dedicate his remaining years with you. I had the same issue with my older dog. I used wooden bed risers and they’re a lot sturdier than the plastic ones, and they gave me just enough height to make a ramp less steep. Been working great so far, and he’s much more comfortable getting in and out of bed.
