Advice 💁🏻 Suggestions on the best mattress for neck pain?

Been dealing with chronic neck pain lately (I’m an athlete) and just found out I’m starting to have disc issues. I’m a side sleeper and I’m looking for a medium-firm queen size mattress. Budget is around $1000–$1500. Any suggestions on the best mattress for neck pain?

I struggled with the same issue and what I did was see a chiropractor first. Helped a lot with my alignment issues that a mattress alone might not fix. Also a good pillow makes a HUGE difference. Looking for a contour or cervical pillow that supports your neck properly.

Hmm that’s a good point. I actually haven’t seen a chiropractor yet. Might be worth looking into. I’m also thinking about upgrading my pillow too. Any recs for a good one?

Sometimes it’s the pillow not the mattress tbh. If your pillow isn’t keeping your neck aligned with your spine, it could be causing pain. Try a coop pillow and see for yourself. What pillow are you using right now

Makes sense. I bought this pillow I have from amazon. It’s a memory foam and honestly I find it too high for my neck haha

Fellow athlete here. Would recommend the DLX premier hybrid. It’s a solid choice. It has stable coil support for spinal alignment and responsive foam for pressure relief. Great for shoulder and hip support too. And you can choose the firmness level depending on what you prefer (they have split firmnesses where you can have two firmness levels in one mattress)
