Advice 💁🏻 Best king bed frame? That’s sturdy and budget-friendly

My partner is moving back to his hometown to study med, and we’re trying to get his new place set up without going poor. We’re looking for the best king bed frame that’s sturdy, supportive, and hopefully easy to set up. We have an old one in his parents house but I feel like it's on its last legs.

We’re open to anything wood, or metal frames. Just nothing that creaks after a few months. Sleep is important for studying after all. Greatly appreciate if it doesn’t require a box spring and has a little storage space!

Anyone have any recommendations? TYSM!

Is it cheaper to just buy a new one instead of fixing the old one?

Asking for no noise is real. My boyfriend farts in his sleep and the sound and smell wakes me up immediately… is there a base that’s durable

Med school = no sleep, so I understand the no creaking. I recommend Brooklyn Bedding, they have affordable beds. Nothing fancy, but zero complaints and no box spring needed.
