Advice 💁🏻 Looking for the best mattress for murphy bed. Any advice?

I just got a murphy bed for my tiny apartment to save some space. Next on my list is to upgrade my mattress to a queen size. My current one is also way too firm so I would like to switch it up to a little bit softer. I’m a side sleeper, 5’3, and around 136 lbs in case this matters

Does anyone have any recommendations for mattresses that would work well with a murphy bed setup? I’m open to any suggestions, brands, types, materials, whatever that would work best! Also, please do share if there’s anything specific I should keep in mind for a Murphy bed

I agree with Helix Midnight Luxe. But if you want something supportive while still on the soft side, check out the Bear Original Mattress. It’s great for side sleepers.

Here’s a tip for a murphy bed: go for something that’s not too thick. If it’s too bulky, you might run into issues when trying to fold the bed up

If you’re leaning towards soft and easy to store, I’d also suggest looking at the Helix Midnight

And I also agree with what others said, make sure the thickness works with your Murphy bed.

Thanks for the heads up about the thickness. 12 inches seems like the sweet spot for Murphy beds, I suppose?
