Best time to buy a mattress… when is it, really?

I recently moved and I’m living alone for the first time, which is exciting... but now I’m finally responsible for buying my own bed and other things. I’ve heard there are certain times of year where you can get better deals but I’m not so sure when’s the best time I can spend and save big time.

I'm in no rush btw since my landlord had an extra mattress I could borrow but I’d rather not overpay if I don’t have to. If you chould give any advice on when to buy or how to get a good deal would be super helpful. Thanks a lot!

I suggest checking out seasonal transitions for sales, like when summer shifts to fall. Many stores try to clear out their inventory then.

Keep your eye out for the smaller, independent mattress companies. Sometimes, they'll issue very competitive discounts that aren't tied to major sales events just to keep up with larger brands

I see they don’t compress their mattresses… that’s huge and quite difficult to setup

If you want more affordable but still natural, DLX has some hybrid models that are great for side and back sleepers. Plus, they have seasonal sales.
