Question 🙋🏻 Hi, anyone know what causes leg cramps in bed?

Lately, I’ve been getting leg cramps at night. Usually, they hit my calves or feet. It doesn’t happen every night, but it’s often enough to mess with my sleep. I wake up sore the next day.

I haven’t really changed my routine that much. I’ve just been sitting more during the day because of work. I drink water and do a bit of stretching before bed, but the cramps still come. Sometimes they wake me up in the middle of the night. It’s painful and really hard to deal with.

I’ve read that cramps can be caused by things like dehydration, low magnesium, or bad posture. But I’m not sure which one applies to me. I’m not taking any new meds, and I don’t think it’s something serious. Still, it’s starting to worry me.

Has anyone else dealt with this? What worked for you? I’m open to any tips. Stretches, vitamins, sleep positions, anything. I just want to sleep through the night without waking up in pain.

Thanks for any help.
